"Learning environments should reflect shifts in pedagogy with a more imaginative and global perspective"

A natural team leader who is always looking for new and better ways to achieve excellence in design, Jason has been a member of JDH since 2013. His passion for architecture coupled with a rigorous method of experimentation has seen him excel in delivering original and creative environments that inspire collaboration and learning. Graduating with a Masters of Architecture from the University of New South Wales in 2009, Jason has first-hand experience across all aspects of a build ensuring that he is able to prioritise efficiently and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Passionate about craftsmanship and attention to detail, Jason’s building designs articulate an intricate balance between internal and external spaces and their end user. With a strong grasp of environmental design principles, he specialises in creating synergy between the built form, the people who use it and its environment. From creating new learning spaces to overseeing large-scale educational environments, Jason’s broad design experience and insight into pedagogy informs every project. He believes that schools need a physical environment that aligns with their social and educational goals and that intelligent design solutions should harness the power of technology, promote inquisitiveness and encourage listening and collaboration. This approach combined with his specialist knowledge of BIM Modeling and new technologies helps optimise building performance while maintaining budget and design fidelity.
