Jayne is a visionary architect who has highly regarded expertise in the design of educational buildings. With a strong understanding of the principles of modern pedagogy and a passion for designing facilities that engage and support all users, Jayne is recognised as an innovative thought leader in educational architecture. Her portfolio includes more than 20 cutting edge projects spanning early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary learning facilities.

An engaging communicator, Jayne is passionate about actively collaborating with a broad range of end users including students, staff and the wider community. By genuinely seeking their input, Jayne is able to incorporate features and functionality that make the end result a delight to use.

Across two decades as an architect, Jayne has worked on a variety of private and public sector projects. She has a deep commitment to sustainable architecture and eco-friendly design.

Prior to establishing JDH Architects in 2003, Jayne worked with a number of international award-winning architectural firms, including Sir Norman Foster & Partners and 3-D Reid Architects. Jayne’s expertise was recently showcased at the Australia Head of Independent Schools New Member Conference where she presented a key note speech on Masterplanning and Innovation in schools.
