St. Francis Catholic College

K-12 Masterplan

JDH embraced the challenge to deliver a cohesive K-12 campus with high-quality, innovative and future focused learning environments. The college is being built over several stages and currently has state of the art facilities in Science Technologies, Creative and Performing Arts, as well as PDHPE. It is expected that a student population of 1700 will be reached at the school’s capacity. A welcoming, inclusive and sustainable K-12 learning community, the college was conceptually designed in alignment with the teachings of St Francis in mind, the Patron Saint of Ecology. This project showcases the successful collaboration between numerous stakeholder, some of which include the Education Consortium of the Catholic Education Office of Wollongong, Edmunds Rice Education Australia, neighbours of the school property, Property Developers and Urban Growth. This collaborative process has produced a unique concept for the school. The new learning environments will co-exist with nature and the community, acting as a didactic tool from which everyone can learn.
